Summary:

Assertions of copyright over edicts of government—law and legal materials issued in the name of lawmakers—by state governments and private legal information providers harm and deceive consumers and are the result of anticompetitive practices. We request that the Federal Trade Commission step in to protect consumers by stopping these unfair, deceptive and fraudulent practices in the marketplace.
