Namaste! Welcome to the readme file for the Petition to the Honorable Ministry. The purpose of the petition is to request that the Bureau of Indian Standards allow and encourage Indian Standards to be more widely disseminated and promulgated so that the public safety may be protected, the youth may be better educated, the professions may be practiced, and trade may be promoted in India and abroad. The home for the petition is this directory: https://law.resource.org/pub/in/ We have also uploaded the petition on the Internet Archive for free viewing and on Lulu, which we use to generate the printed copies that are delivered to the Honorable Ministry for their consideration: https://archive.org/details/bis.gov.in.20141031 http://www.lulu.com/shop/publicresourceorg/petition-to-the-honorable-ministry/paperback/product-21878265.html The petition consists of a main brief, 24 exhibits, and Annexures A through L. Included with the Annexures are affidavits from prominent developers, engineers, and others concerned with the promulgation of these important documents. If you wish to submit an affidavit or other declaration, you may do so by postal dispatch to the under stated or by email: Carl Malamud Public.Resource.Org 1005 Gravenstein Highway North Sebastopol, CA 95472 USA Email: carl@media.org Your affidavit or declaration should cover the following points: 1.
